Tablet & phone provider transition — ViaPath → Securus
URGENT — tablet switch happening NOW: photos will be lostCDCR switches Pleasant Valley State Prison from ViaPath to Securus phones on Jul 6, 2026 and tablets Jul 7–10, 2026 — this week. Photos, e-messages, and media on the ViaPath tablet DO NOT transfer and will be gone after the switch. Your loved one must print any photos or messages they want to keep from their tablet or kiosk BEFORE the tablet exchange — family members cannot request prints for them. Tell them today. After the phone switch the caller ID changes, so answer calls from unknown numbers or you may miss them. Expect intermittent phone/tablet outages during the transition. Refunds for unused ViaPath balances: families use the ViaPath call center; the incarcerated person’s balance auto-refunds to their trust account.
